We had an email yesterday from someone who saw a seller on Ebay giving people our website address for 99p at a time!  Needless to say by the time we checked Ebay had booted them off. They were offering information on how to get a Wii Fit guaranteed this Christmas.  This isn’t the first time this has happened, there was another occasion back in May too, we couldn’t say if it was the same person or not. While we are very flattered, this website is free and no-one should have to pay to find us.  Perhaps you could help us out…

Remember the (in)famous Wii Fit video that did the rounds and is still doing the rounds? (At nearly 7m YouTube views as we write!) The one with the attractive lady (or the attractive bottom as you don’t see her face), practicing her Wii Fit Hula Hoop routine in her underwear? If you don’t remember, let us refresh your memory…

Well a sequel of sorts has just done the rounds courtesy of The Tyra Banks show…

Seems like the marketing folks at Nintendo are still pushing the Wii Fit pretty hard, and by the looks of things the strategy of attracting new gamers to the Wii Fit is working just fine. At a recent demo in Minnesota USA you couldn’t move for Moms and Daughters taking a look at a product which they had heard all about but had never actually played, the Hula Hoop game was a big hit with the kids whilst the adults enjoyed the novelty factor (and the promise of weight loss with regular use and a calorie controlled diet).

‘Touch! Generations’ is the title of the soundtrack album that Nintendo are releasing via Club Nintendo in Japan. The CD features 25 ‘classics’ from the various Touch! Generation titles released by Nintendo on the DS and Wii, 4 of those are from Wii Fit.

Music to get you revved up before a night out!

You know a game is successful the moment it becomes the focus of a scam and Wii Fit has started to attain just such a status with a gym in NYC devising a ‘Wii Fit Program’ which will set you back $110. What you get for your money is a ‘real life’ gym instructor telling you what the on screen gym instructor is already telling you. Sounds like a waste of money if ever there was one.
