In the race to claim the title of ‘Best Selling Game Of The Year’, the crime ridden world of Grand Theft Auto IV has seemingly met its match in the shape of the wholesome Wii Fit!
In April this year GTA IV raced into a clear lead with 13 million copies sold as opposed to the Wii Fits 10 million. However it looks like GTA IV has got a puncture and in the rear view mirror are a whole host of Mii’s slowly jogging into view.
The key to victory is that Wii Fit has maintained a steady rate of sales. With around 200,000 copies still selling every week WedBush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter believes that if this rate is maintained Wii Fit will overtake GTAIV and become the best selling game of the year.
Well there you have it, just like using the Wii Fit itself, patience and determination bring rewards!

Surprise! Surprise! Wii Fit remains at the top of the Nintendo game charts.
For six straight weeks Wii Fit has reigned supreme, not even the likes of Batman in Lego form can knock the game off the top spot. Mario Kart has to be content with second place whilst the all powerful ‘Star Wars: The Force Unleashed’ has whimpered its way down to Ninth place.
