These statistics come from Nintendo president Satoru Iwata who announced earlier this week that the company has sold nearly 300,000 copies of Wii Fit in the US alone and over 100,000 in Europe during January 2009.
WOW! When other companies are feeling the pinch, Nintendo reports an increase in sales. These are pretty impressive statistics. These figures aren’t including the rest of the world either, in Japan they have shifted huge volumes of Wii Fit.

There was a slight ’slump’ in Europe early Jan but I expect that’s because you could only find it as part of a bundle and not solus. It’s picking up again as more batches of RRP stock become available.
