SHOULD I EXERCISE IN MY BAREFEET OR WITH SOCKS ON?

According to the manual, barefoot is preferable due to better grip and you are less likely to fall off the board. A few people have mentioned after a day or two their feet hurt a little, this is probably just due to having never exercised barefoot before, any discomfort should soon pass.

The best bet is to buy a silicone balance board cover, not only do these cushion your feet and stop you slipping off – it protects your board too.
