WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NINTENDO WII SPORTS AND WII FIT?
Ok, quite a few people get these two games confused, especially if they are new to all things Wii, so we’ll try and explain the differences to you.
Wii Sports is the game which comes with the Wii console and it provides an entertaining selection of sports related games that demonstrate the interactive nature of Wii gaming straight out of the box.

The game features 5 different sports including Tennis, Baseball, Bowling, Golf and Boxing.
Each game features a standard play mode, a training mode and multi-player capability and they all allow you to get to grips with the Nintendo Wii Remote and Nunchuck controllers.
These games are great fun and are deliberately simple to play, you do not need the Balance Board and the emphasis is on fun rather than any serious attempt to provide a work-out.
Now Wii Fit, is the real deal. This game does not come with the console as standard, Nintendo Wii Fit is a stand alone game which includes the Balance Board, this accessory was designed specifically for use with Wii Fit, although it is now being utilised for other titles.

Wii Fit is a serious exercise tool, it monitors your progress and takes a methodical approach to helping you keep in shape.
In short, Wii Sports is a fun collection of simple games which introduces you to the Nintendo Wii console, whereas Wii Fit is a complex, yet fun game which offers a great way of staying in shape whilst seriously monitoring your weight and fitness.
