Just click on the green link.*   When ‘We Ski’ was originally released back in May the Balance Board was in it’s infancy, no-one knew too much about this crazy new peripheral that Nintendo had thrown into the mix, and that included game developers such as Namco Bandai Games. But as we head towards the end of the year and now that the Balance Board is a fully fledged part of the gaming world,  the folks at Namco prepare to release the sequel to We Ski, it is entitled  ’We Ski & Snowboard.’

The game promises a more much more advanced use of the balance board, this is due to  the developers having more time to discover the possibilities of the device. The Balance Board will have the expected function of replicating the sensation of skiing or snowboarding but this time it will be a much more realistic experience. The team have redesigned the layout of the slopes so they will be more responsive to the Balance Boards movements, the mountains will move away from the oriental look of the first game and will take on a more European flavour allowing for more freedom of exploration, so if you don’t like a course you can simply cut across to one you prefer without having to access the menu. There’s more clothing, more colour, more snowboard designs, more stunts and simply more of everything which should make this title one to look out for.   Family Ski is out on Feb 20th 2009.
